Thank you for visiting the RFID Professional Institute’s website. The Institute was founded in June 2012 by a group of RFID professionals committed to fostering professionalism in the global RFID industry through the creation of standardized certification exams. It is our belief that the industry can only grow if it has a large pool of well-trained technicians and professionals and a system for verifying the knowledge and skills of this group.

Since our founding, volunteers have worked tirelessly to create a detailed certification process, a roadmap for the certifications we aim to create and the first two exams in the series — the RFID Professional Institute Associate Certificate and the RFID Professional Institute Professional Certificate. We will soon publish a study guide for the Associate Certificate, which will be followed in a few months by a study guide for the Professional Certificate.

If you are a graduating university student with a technical degree, a business person assigned to an RFID project or someone just entering the RFID field, I encourage you to become certified. It’s a great way to demonstrate your knowledge of RFID systems and concepts, as well as enhance your career.
