Preparing For Your Certification Exam
The RFID Professional Institute exams are designed to test your knowledge of a wide range subjects related to all types of RFID technology (passive RFID, active RFID, battery-assisted passive RFID, hybrid systems and even some alternatives to RFID, such as ultrasound). You are strongly advised to prepared well. The topics on each exam are detailed in these documents:

Preparation Resources
The Institute has created an 80-page Study Guide for the Associate Certificate exam, which anyone purchase and use to prepare for the exam. We are currently working on a Study Guide for the Professional Certificate.
RFID4U currently offers certification training for the Associate Certificate. If you are unable to attend an in-person training course, the RFID Professional Institute has created a Study Guide for the Associate Certificate and is working on a guide for the Professional Certificate.
Take an Exam Online
Both exams can be taken remotely online. You must take and pass the Associate Certificate exam before taking the Professional Certificate exam. Vouchers for the exams can be purchased by visiting the Purchase a Voucher page.

After you purchase a voucher, you will be emailed a direct link to the exam online. You must complete the exam in one sitting with no breaks. Your browser will be locked and you will not be able to open additional applications during the exam.

After the Exam
We will be notified of your exam score within 48 hours of completing the exam. Scores above the nominal pass mark will result in you receiving from us a Pass notification. You will also receive a digital certificate, secured by blockchain and hosted by VerifyEd.io. You will be able to share this certificate on your LinkedIn profiles page and with potential employers.

If you fail the exam, you will receive notification from us to that effect. You are also encouraged to retake the exam again after a period of further study. There is no limit to the number of times you may take the exam.
